For facilities in Kentucky with existing coverage granted prior to September 30, 2007 under the previous Kentucky Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (KPDES) General Permit, the Notice of Intent (NOI) to renew coverage under the reissued KPDES General Permit for the Discharge of Stormwater Runoff Associated with Industrial Activities is required within 90 days of the effective date, June 1, 2013, of the reissued KPDES General Permit.  Therefore, the due date for the NOI submittal is this month on August 29, 2013.  Please make sure that your affected facilities plan appropriately to submit the NOI electronically to the Kentucky Division of Water (DOW) by the due date.
