The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has extended the public comment deadline for the proposed rule “Definition of `Waters of the United States’ Under the Clean Water Act” published on April 21, 2014. This action marks the second extension of the public comment period for this proposed rule. This public comment period is now open until Friday, November 14. EPA indicated that the comment period was extended in response to stakeholder requests and to allow comments on new supporting materials.
