As we highlighted last week, SMG is a significant participant in the upcoming Kentucky Chamber Energy Conference on December 17, 18, 2013.  The conference will focus on a number of issues that are in the news or in flux.  Josiah Frey of SMG will join Acting Director Peter Goodman of Kentucky’s Division of Water in discussing the selenium sampling decision recently received from EPA.  Scott Smith will dig into “Intelligent Efficiency”, using advancements at Fayette County Schools to illustrate what is possible with the wise use of real time data.  Sara Smith will moderate a panel discussion on the benefits, opportunities and costs of efficiency programs specifically for commercial and industrial customers.  Those are only three of the numerous interesting presentations and discussions that will develop at the conference in just a few weeks.
