I am always on the lookout for good energy efficiency resources. The upcoming webinar below by DOE’s Clean Cities program caught my eye. The Clean Cities national network brings together stakeholders in the public and private sectors to deploy alternative and renewable fuels, idle-reduction measures, fuel economy improvements, and emerging transportation technologies.
The Clean Cities program news webpage references a project of interest to Louisvillians. They have announced that UPS is investing in propane for its U.S. delivery fleet by purchasing 1,000 propane package delivery trucks and installing 50 fueling stations at UPS locations. The investment in propane vehicles and infrastructure is approximately $70 million. Click here for the full article.
