For 5 years OSHA has been developing a revised Hazard Communication Standard in an effort to harmonize it with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS). GHS was developed to eliminate the costs and confusion caused by different international standards. Final Action is due in February and will impact every regulated workplace in the US.
