On Tuesday, the White House released the latest National Climate Assessment addressing everything from natural disasters to changes in infrastructure development driven by climate change. The 829 page report is broken up into sections highlighting impacts of climate change on various sectors of the economy, while also focusing on impacts to different regions of the country. It dedicates over a hundred pages to response strategies such as climate change mitigation and societal adaptation to its impacts. As a whole, the document is a compilation of recommendations and climate change summaries, but does not present new research data on the subject. While the report is being debated in the public arena, it is unlikely this report will alter the framework of that debate.
